According to the store’s owner, the incident happened on Saturday when a couple entered the store with the intention of buying several products. “They started touching the products and I told them that they are not allowed to do that, moment in which they became violent,” said owner Maria Teresa Garcia.

The five people allegedly took goods worth EUR9,000 from the store. They ran away in a car and one of the neighbors managed to see the car’s license number and immediately called the police.

The five were arrested three hours after the incident, near the town of La Virgen del Camino.
