Romania was given a 1-1 draw Saturday evening with France in the World Cup qualifiers, as France defender Julien Escude scored an own-goal, and the country dropped more points and has no chance of being the first in group 7.

France’ Thierry Henry opened score in the 48th minute, but his team-mate Julien Escude evened it out with an own-goal in the 56th minute.
