Grindeanu points the guns at the Government: it borrows a thousand euros per second

The statements were made on Thursday during a press conference. Sorin Grindeanu criticized the Government, claiming that it destroyed domestic capital and caused the collapse of foreign investments. Grindeanu also claimed that dozens of Romanians are losing their jobs every day.

„All of this has effects on Romanians, on employees, almost 173 Romanians lose their jobs every day, three out of four being in industry,” declared Sorin Grindeanu.

Regarding consumption, the PSD president said that “we are in the 11th month of decline, so production has no chance of recovery”. He also spoke about the decrease in inflation.

“Bolojan doubled it, he brought it and took it away in one go”, explained Sorin Grindeanu, adding that Romania’s borrowing is growing rapidly.

“The government is borrowing a thousand euros per second, Romanians would do well to think (…) 434 million lei more to the public debt of Romanians per day”, said Sorin Grindeanu.

He concluded that in September the interim government must leave the Victoria Palace.

„Starting with the ordinary autumn session, it is clear to everyone that we need a government with full powers, we can no longer afford for Bolojan and the userist cabal to remain at the Victoria Palace,” Grindeanu stated, assuring that „PSD is ready to be part of a solution.”
