Half Of Romanian Managers Use Software Applications To Monitor Employees

Nearly half of Romanian managers (45.7%) use software applications to monitor their employees’ activity, most of them using two or more such devices, while 35.5% do not use monitoring software applications, according to a poll made by IT services company GeCAD Net.

Romanian managers use monitoring software applications to improve their employees' efficiency, and are thus able to keep costs within their companies' means, Alexandru Molodoi, chief technical officer of GeCAD Net said Thursday.

Thus, 26.1% of the managers polled said they use two or more monitoring software applications, while 19.6% use only one such device.

On the other hand, 35.5% of the managers polled do not want to use monitoring software applications, saying they are pleased with their employees' activity.

The poll revealed 18.8% of the managers questioned were not aware of the existence of such monitoring devices.

The poll was made in the March-July interval on 414 managers and IT experts within Romanian companies.

GeCAD Net is an IT company that sells and implements software applications, offers integrated IT services, website audit services, web applications and professional solutions for IT security.

GeCAD Net is member of GECAD group, owned by Radu Georgescu who transferred shares to a company in Cyprus. GECAD includes GeCAD Software, GeCAD Epayment International and GeCAD Technologies.

Last year the four companies reported a total turnover worth RON10.1 million (1EUR=RON4.2463).
