Voronin also said the Republic of Moldova decided to reintroduce travel visas for Romanians.


Voronin accused Romania of involvement in the violent anticommunist riots that broke out in Chisinau on Tuesday, AFP reported.


Thousands of people continue to protest Wednesday in Chisianu after the communists came out victorious after a general election held Sunday.


Nearly all border crossing points between Romania and Moldova have been closed and about 300 people, including journalists, were denied access into Moldova in the past 24 hours.
