President Klaus Iohannis has had a new call to Romanians on Thursday, saying that only by staying at home "fighting with this extremely dangerous enemy" will be won.

President Iohannis has resumed the call to Romanians to respect the restrictions imposed by the authorities and to stay in the houses.

"I want to resume my appeal to all Romanians: respect, please, dear Romanians, the restrictions imposed by the authorities. Stay at home, because this is the only way we can protect our health. The better we are now able to keep under control and limit the spread of coronavirus, the faster we will all be able to return to the activities we now feel are missing. I know it is hard. But only by making these sacrifices will we win the fight with this extremely dangerous enemy", said Iohannis.

By the Military Ordinance no. 3, general quarantine has been imposed in Romania and those who leave the house can do so only for justified reasons, with a declaration on their own responsibility or with a certificate from the employer.
