Romania confirmed Monday two new cases of infection with the AH1N1 influenza virus, taking the number of cases reported in the country to 46.

The patients are a 54 year-old man from the central Romanian city of Brasov who returned to Romania from the U.K. on June 26 and a 28 year-old man from capital city Bucharest, who returned from the United Sates this Saturday, the Ministry of Health said.
The two patients are being treated at the ‘Matei Bals’ infectious diseases hospital in Bucharest and are in good condition.
According to the most recent report of the World Health Organization, the AH1N1 influenza virus has so far infected 94,512 people worldwide and caused the death of 429.
