Romanian Democrat Liberals Voice Out Support For Christian Democrats
Romanian Prime Minister Emil Boc, head of the Democratic Liberal Party (PDL), said Saturday, at the congress of the National Christian-Democratic Peasants' Party (PNTCD), that his party will endorse PNTCD in its endeavor to rejoin the Romanian Parliament.

Boc said that PNTCD can always count on the democrat liberals' partnership within the European People's Party (EPP), which, he stressed, will enable PNTCD to make itself heard in the European Parliament.
The Christian democrats' extraordinary congress, held at the Parliament Palace, was also attended by democrat liberals Adriean Videanu and Vasile Blaga, as well as by liberal leader Crin Antonescu.
The purpose of the congress is to elect PNTCD's new headship and reconfirm Marian Petre Milut as party leader.
