Romanian, Italian interior Mins To Discuss Citizen Protection

The situation of Romanians in Italy will be discussed in the upcoming days by the Romanian and Italian interior ministers, said Romanian interior minister Dan Nica.

"I will have a talk with the Italian interior minister in the General Council in Brussels in the upcoming days (…) and w will discuss many things on the manner in which we need to respect Romanian citizens who uphold the law (…) and to see what measures need to be taken for those who break the law," Nica said.

Asked if he intends to increase collaboration between the Romanian police and the Italian one, Nica said only that "any statement on this topic will be made public."
