The party leaders met Thursday evening at the social democrat central headquarters.

Earlier, sources in the Social Democratic Party and the Liberal Party said the alliance will not have joint leadership bodies - its political activity will be coordinated only by PSD president Victor Ponta and PNL president Crin Antonescu.

The liberals and conservatives had already joined forces to form the Center-Right Alliance (ACD).
