Steaua Owner To Pay EUR9.25M For Agric Co. Comaico - Sources

FC Steaua football club owner, George Becali will pay some EUR9.25 million to Romanian businessman Dumitru Bucsaru for the 99.99% stake in agriculture company Comaico, people close to the matter said Sunday.

Comaico manages over 100 hectares of land, most of them located near capital city Bucharest.

The two businessmen have signed a pre-contract on the deal this spring, the mentioned sources said.

Bucsaru declined to comment, saying the transaction is confidential.

In 2006, Comaico reported losses of 1.37 million lei (EUR1-RON3.5656). The company had revenues of RON1.18 million and fixed assets worth RON62.27 million.

Comaico reported profit of RON1.6 million in 2005.
