Swiss Carrier Baboo Launches Flights To Romania

Swiss regional air carrier Baboo on Monday launched its first flights on the Romanian market, from Bucharest’s International Airport Otopeni to Geneva and Nice, respectively, Baboo said in a statement.

The Bucharest-Geneva and back and Bucharest-Nice flights are scheduled four times a week, while the Nice-Bucharest flight is operated three times aweek.
 
Baboo, founded in Geneva in 2003, serves 23 destinations (including charter destinations).
 
The airliner carried nearly 500,000 passengers between November 2003 and December 2007.
 
Baboo’s fleet includes two Bombardier Dash 8-Q400s and three Embraer 190s.
