Branzan said railroad transport police checked the cars for any explosive device but nothing was found and passengers were allowed to get on the international train heading for Budapest.
Branzan said the train left the station at 8.27 p.m., with a 37-minute delay.
Liberal Ludovic Orban, who was on the train, told MEDIAFAX the train should have left the station at 7.50 p.m., adding bomb disposal patrols announced the train must be checked due to a bomb threat and passengers were evacuated.
