Romanians paid 0.33% more for services in June compared with May, and 0.07% more for non-food items. Food items cost 0.18% less on the month in June.
Compared with June 2016, prices of food rose 2.83%, non-food items cost 0.21% more, while service prices were 1.03% lower, the data showed.
Romania’s central bank forecasts inflation at 1.6% at the end of the year.
