Romania’s Petrom Cuts Fuel Prices By RON0.09/Liter

Romania’s largest oil company Petrom SA (SNP.RO) will cut Wednesday fuel prices by 0.09 lei (EUR1=RON3.8090) per liter, the company said in a statement.

Unleaded Premium 95 gasoline will cost RON2.95 per liter, below RON3 for the first time in the last three years and a half, while the price of one liter of unleaded Top Premium 99+ gasoline will be RON3.28 per liter. One liter of OMV Carrera 95 and of OMV Carrera 100 will cost RON3.05 and RON3.68, respectively.

One liter of Top Euro Diesel 4 will cost RON3.46, while one liter of Euro Diesel 4 will cost RON3.38. OMV Premium Diesel will cost RON3.79 and OMV Sprint Diesel will cost RON3.51, the company said.

According to Petrom’s pricing strategy, pump prices may vary by +/- 5% compared with reference prices.

Petrom, majority owned by Austria’s oil group OMV, owns the largest gas station network on the Romanian market, totaling approximately 450 units.
