Eighteen people in Brasov, central Romania, of whom five are Romanians, were confirmed to carry flu virus A/H1N1 by Cantacuzino National Institute, the Health Ministry said in a press release.

They were participating at the university’s international summer school which began on July 19,
 
The students, aged 20 to 25, come from Romania, Turkey, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Croatia and Russia.
 
The institute confirmed that their professor, a Romanian national, is also infected.
 
The were hospitalised in Brasov and their evolution is positive. The infectious diseases network continues the examination of the other participants’ health condition.
 
The total number of Romanians infected with the new flu virus reached 82.
