Aussie Pop Princess Kylie Minogue To Perform In Bucharest On May 17

Australian pop princess Kylie Minogue will perform on May 17, 2008 at the Cotroceni Football Stadium in Bucharest, Romania, organizers Emagic Entertainment told Mediafax Thursday.

Minogue rose to prominence in the late 1980s through her role in the Australian television soap opera Neighbours, before she commenced her career as a pop artist in the late '80s, with singles "Locomotion" and "I Should Be So Lucky" which held number one positions in charts for weeks.

Kylie sold over 40 million albums worldwide with hits such as "Where the Wild Roses Grow" with Nick Cave, "Spinning Around", "Kids" with Robbie Williams, "On a Night Like This", "Can't Get You Out of My Head", "In Your Eyes", "Love at First Sight", "Come into My World", "Slow" and "I Believe in You".

The Grammy award winning artist is among the most highly acclaimed pop singers worldwide.

A winner in the struggle against breast cancer, the vixen released a new album this year, "X", and starts the album’s promotion tour KYLIEX2008.
