Bucharest Court Of Appeals Suspends Insolvency Procedures Against Airline Blue Air

Last week, the Bucharest Court allowed insolvency claims against Blue Air, filed by airline Carpatair and Service Excellence Solutions, and the court's ruling was challenged with the Court of Appeals.

Blue Air representative Florentina Ivan said last week that the airline operator's debts to the two companies had been paid off.

In March, Carpatair filed an insolvency claim with the Bucharest Court against Blue Air for a debt amounting to EUR30,000.

Carpatair vice-president Paula Ardelean told MEDIAFAX that after the airline filed its request, Blue Air paid off its debt, adding it is likely the latter did not address the court to close the insolvency file, as it was supposed to.
