Italian Police Arrests 25 Ethnic Rroma People From Romania

During an operation unfolded in Italy and Romania, the Italian police squads arrested 25 ethnic Rroma people from Romania, accused of child trafficking, theft, robbery, gambling and usury which brought them gains of up to EUR1,000 daily.

Italian Police Arrests 25 Ethnic Rroma People From Romania

The operation conducted by Milan’s police squads in Italian cities of Milan and Pavia, as well as in Romania’s southern city of Craiova, resulted in annihilating a network of ethnic Rroma people engaged in unlawful acts in Milan, Venice, Pescara, Ancona and Bologna, informs TG5 website.
The investigation started after several unlawful acts were reported to have been committed near the central railway station in Milan.
The police officers found out that 34 minors were exploited and illegally brought to Italy. According to the investigators, each of the 25 adults arrested gained EUR500 up to EUR1,000 daily from illegal activities.
