Italy Expels Three Romanian Migrants

The Italian authorities adopted in October last year a decree for the expulsion of citizens of other European countries, following a brutal crime allegedly committed by a Roma man from Romania.

The four European citizens who were living in Treviso are the first migrants to be expelled under the decree, Italian paper Oggi Treviso reported Thursday.

All four citizens had criminal records in Italy.

Local authorities in Treviso also target other European citizens, who are considered “dangerous.”
