Over 4,530 Ukrainians have requested asylum in Romania since the beginning of the war with Russia

According to a statement published on Facebook, IGI has issued and reissued a total of 217,243 residence permits for beneficiaries of temporary protection on Romanian territory.

Only between December 1 and 9, over 583 residence permits were issued for beneficiaries of temporary protection.

According to IGI, a number of 4,534 Ukrainian citizens have requested asylum in Romania since the beginning of the War in Ukraine.

The occupancy rate in regional accommodation centers is 19.9%.
