Romania’s OMV Petrom Hikes Pump Prices By Up To RON0.06/Liter

Romania’s largest oil company OMV Petrom (SNP.RO) on Monday raised its gasoline and diesel oil pump prices by 0.06 lei (EUR1=RON4.2523) and RON0.03 per liter, respectively, the company said in a statement.

Thus, as of today, one liter of unleaded Premium gasoline costs RON4.58, while one liter of unleaded Top Premium 99+ can be bought with RON4.96.

One liter of OMV Carrera 95 and of OMV Carrera 100 costs RON4.72 and RON5.98, respectively.

The OMV Premium Diesel can be bought with RON5.04 per liter, while one liter of OMV Sprint Diesel now costs RON4.72.

The price of Euro Diesel and Top Euro Diesel rose to RON4.5 per liter and RON4.7 per liter, respectively.

Petrom is the largest corporation in Romania and the largest gas and oil producer in Southeastern Europe. In December 2004, Petrom was taken over by Austria's OMV AG (OMV.VI).
