The 3D equipment in the cinemas will allow the screening of a wide range of films, the hosting of specialized festivals and a wide range of events such as live concerts, opera, fashion shows, football matches and Formula 1 races.

The Light cinemas will also offer visitors lounging spaces and each hall will have its own bar.

The first The Light cinema, in Liberty Center in Bucharest, will open on October 30.

There is a real interest in film, which, combined with a spectacular cinema offer, can be adjusted to fit all pockets, ages and interests, said Keith Pullinger, one of the company’s founders. He added Romania has a large potential and the company aims to attract at least 500,000 viewers annually.
