Romanian Pres, PM To Attend Working Breakfast With EC Officials On Monday

Romanian Prime Minister Emil Boc and President Traian Basescu will leave next week to Brussels, to talk with the President of the European Commission about the gas crisis.

They will be accompanied by the Foreign Affairs Minister and the head of the Department for European Affairs.

The prime minister and the head of state will leave together on the same airplane, official sources told MEDIAFAX.

The Press Office of the Government said Boc and Basescu will attend a working breakfast with Jose Manuel Durao Barroso on January 12 in Brussels.

The working breakfast will approach topics such as the economic crisis, the gas transit to Europe and possibly security in the Middle East, the presidency said, adding the invitation was made by the head of the European Commission, the presidency said.
