Prince Albert came to Romania for a two-day official visit at the invitation of the Romanian head of state and his schedule includes a trip to the Danube Delta and meetings with high officials in Tulcea, eastern Romania.

According to the Romanian Presidency, Prince Albert and president Basescu will hold official talks aiming to speed up political dialog between Romania and the Princedom of Monaco and to enlarge the fields of cooperation between the two states.

The Presidency also said the head of state and His Majesty will also approach environment protection issues and, to this end, they will look into the possibility of correlating the projects promoted by the two states in the Mediterranean Sea region and the Black Sea area, respectively.
