Romanian Sports Daily ProSport Goes 3D As Of July 1

ProSport, which became the first color newspaper in Romania thirteen years ago, once again revolutionizes the print media in Romania and joins the new wave of European publications in 3D (three-dimensional) format, after Belgian newspaper La Dernière Heure and British daily The Sun.

ProSport innovates once again and improves its quality, as the edition on July 1 will become Europe's first issue of a sports newspaper in 3D format, in 24 pages.

Extraordinary pictures of the 2010 South Africa World Cup, as well as special layouts, will all be available to the public in a true 3D experience by means of cardboard viewing glasses that will be delivered with the newspaper for free.

ProSport's 3D edition to be released on July 1 is also a first for the Romanian advertising market as all advertisements will be specially adjusted to the 3D format.

ProSport is edited by PubliMedia International, the publishing division of media group MediaPro and one of the largest publishing companies on the Romanian market. PubliMedia International currently covers all major market segments (business press, the sport segment, the quality press, women's press, TV guide, spare time guides and targeted magazines). Besides ProSport, publications in the company's portfolio include business weekly Business Magazin, business newspaper Ziarul Financiar, newspaper Gandul, women's magazine The One, auto magazine ProMotor, TV guide ProTV Magazin and leisure guide Time Out.
