Romanian Woman Aboard Missing Air France Flight Is Violeta Bajenaru-Declerck

The woman’s identification data were reported Monday by French authorities via the Romanian consular office in Paris.

Most of the 216 passengers of the Airbus A330 that went missing Monday during a Rio de Janeiro-Paris flight are Brazilian and French.

According to a list read out by Air France spokesman Jorge Asuncao, the flight carried 80 Brazilian citizens and 73 French nationals. Other passengers were 18 German citizens, nine Italian citizens, six American citizens, five Chinese citizens, four Hungarian citizens, two Spanish citizens, two British citizens, two Moroccan citizens and two Irish citizens.

The missing plane also carried one citizens from Angola, one from Argentina, one from Belgium, one from Iceland, one from Norway, one from Poland, one from Romania, one from Russia, one from Slovakia, one from Sweden, one from Turkey, one from the Philippines and one from Switzerland, according to the passenger list.
