However, they have the interdiction to leave the country, diplomatic sources said.
The young woman was allegedly raped repeatedly by the two Romanians, which caused her miscarriage, and then she was allegedly forced into prostitution, Italian daily La Stampa reported.
La Stampa reports the woman was found by a former Italian police officer, who called the Scotland Yard.
Former police officer Fedele De Pasquale, now working as a private detective, notified the British police after receiving a call from the woman. De Pasquale said the woman was kidnapped by Dan Cardei and Florentin Nikita.
De Pasquale told reporters he contacted the Scotland Yard and the Italian consulate after he received a call from the woman, who had managed to steal one of the kidnappers’ mobile phone. The London police managed to trace the call, freed the woman and arrested the two Romanians.
The Italian consul’s office in London helped the young woman, but did not give further details.
