The cancelled flights were traveling on the routes to Munich, Istanbul, Athens, Antalya (two flights), Thessaloniki, Sofia, Cluj (two flights), Vienna (three flights), Chisinau, Oradea, Sibiu and Timisoara.

The reasons for the delay are, on the one hand, triggered by the fact that bad weather prevents the planes from landing, thus they were unable to leave on new flights, and on the other hand, by the snow blocking the planes on the "Henri Coanda" Airport.

Barla said delays might be expected on Friday as well, since the situation occurring Thursday will have repercussions on air traffic in the days to come.
