Disney, the television for children with ages between 2 and 5, respectively 6 and 14, will offer viewers an exciting combination of programs, series such as "Hannah Montana", cartoons such as "Phineas and Ferb" and original movies, including "High School Musical" and "Camp Rock". The station will also include a Playhouse Disney Block with entertainment shows for preschoolers, based on education, which include world hits like "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" and "Handy Manny". The shows will be dubbed in Romanian.

Jetix Romania began broadcasting important Disney Channel produced series in 2008, which were essential in the strengthening of it position in the region. In just two months from launch, series such as "Hannah Montana" and "Phineas and Ferb" were watched by 413,000 viewersm pushing Jetix frm the second to the top position in Romania on this segment, according to data supplied by GfK Romania.

Disney Channel Worldwide represents the most successful portfolio of children’s stations in the world, with 98 channels and/or channel signals available in 167 countries and 32 languages. In 2008, the Disney Channel was at the top of viewer preferences in 17 countries and territories. Disney Channel properties continue to expand to new markets worldwide, playing a key role in the introduction of the Disney brand to new consumers.

The Walt Disney company is the majority holder of Jetix Europe. The latter is one of the main children’s entertainment companies in Europe, with local television stations, program distribution and operations in Europe and the Middle East. The 14 television stations held by Jetix Europe broadcast an unique mix of comedy and action, for children with ages between 6 and 14, in 58 countries and 19 languages, watched in over 52 million homes. In addition, the company holds GXT, a private station in Italy targeting teenage boys.

Jetix Europe is part of the Jetix alliance for children’s entertainment, launched by Jetix Europe and the Walt Disney company in 2004.
