“I congratulate you all and I wish to tell you on occasion of the International Students’ Day. I wish every day to be “your day” through your performances and the beauty of your age. On the International Students’ Day, celebrated each year on November 17, together with culture minister Adrian Iorgulescu, we wish to grant you free access to culture. For one day, you have the chance to visit museums and have free access to theatre and opera representations that are to take place in institutions subordinated to the Ministry of Culture,” Adomnitei said.

The minister said he is sure that students are capable of bringing the higher education system to another level, so that the country’s universities be placed among the most prestigious institutions in the world.

“Together we can create a better education system that will guarantee the development of the Romanian society. The students need to have an important role in the life of the academic community,” the minister concluded.
