The band confirmed the performance on their official website.

Steve Harris, Bruce Dickinson, Dave Murray, Adrian Smith, Janick Gers and Nicko McBrain launch in February 2008 a double DVD, "Live After Death", which includes footage from the four sold-out gigs at Long Beach Arena in Los Angeles in March 1985, part of the Powerslave tour.

"Live After Death" was not available in the past 15 years and millions of fans worldwide are waiting for this reediting.

The metal legends so far released 14 albums, selling some 70 million copies. Hits such as "The Trooper", "Flight of Icarus", "Where Eagles Dare", "To Tame A Land", "Wasted Years", "Bring Your Daughter... to the Slaughter", "Afraid to Shoot Strangers", "Wasting Love" made Iron Maiden one of the world’s most influential heavy metal bands.

"We've mentioned before in previous announcements how exciting it is to be playing new places and although we have visited Bucharest only once before, way back in October 1995, this will be the first time our fans there will get to see Bruce performing the classic songs.  So this will basically like playing here for the first time for us and I'm sure the fans will be as fired for it as we are!" said founding member Steve Harris.

Romanian fans have a chance to get really close to the band, as the Iron Maiden fan club has launched a contest. Sixty lucky fans and their friends will be the first to have access on the stadium and can see the concert from the front row. For details, see the band’s official website, www.ironmaiden.com.

After Bucharest, Iron Maiden will perform in Warsaw (Aug. 7) and Prague (Aug. 8). The tour, which kicks off Feb. 1, in India (Mumbai) includes performances in cities like Tokio, Los Angeles, Paris, London, Lisbon, Helsinki, Oslo and Athens.

Ticket prices range from RON50 to RON240 and are already up for sale www.myticket.ro and Diverta stores.
