MAE: Seven persons at the Romanian Embassy in France, positive with COVID-19

The Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) informs on Monday that seven persons operating in the Romanian Embassy in Paris have tested positive with COVID-19.

"The measures that are required in relation with the authorities of the state of residence, as well as protection measures for the rest of the diplomatic mission group and their families have been ordered. The condition of the seven people is good", announces the quoted source.

The Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs mentions that, in this context, the activity of the Romanian Embassy in the French Republic will be restricted, given the need for the mission personnel to enter into isolation.

At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs specifies that the activity of the consular unit is temporarily suspended, taking only the urgent cases.
