Romania Lost 5-0 To Serbia In 2010 World Cup Qualifying Match

The Serbian team coached by Radomir Antici qualified for the 2010 World Cup that will take place in South Africa.

Serbian Zigici opened score in the 37th minute, followed by Pantelici in the 50th minute, Kuzmanovici in the 78th minute and Jovanovici in the 87th and the 90+3 minutes.

In the 85th minute, Romanian team captain Cristian Chivu was eliminated after a foul on Zigici.

In the 12th minute Romanian Adrian Mutu committed a foul on Vidici who needed medical care.

Serbia ensured first position in the seventh group of the preliminaries, with a total of 22 points, qualifying thus for the 2010 World Cup.

The match was played on the Crvena Zvezda stadium in Belgrade in the presence of 50,000 supporters.
