The sources said Boc will most likely call for the dismissal of Interior Minister Dan Nica on Monday and added the coalition will not break up, although it does not work in many local branches.

Many democrat liberals said the government needs to be changed and social democrat ministers Ecaterina Andronescu and Dan Nica ought to be replaced.

"We've done our job. We'll stay in the coalition, it is now up to the prime minister to decide, we mandated him and he has all the party's support," they said.

Boc told party colleagues that reshuffling the Cabinet is his decision to make and the Democratic Liberal Party cannot propose such changes. A decision is likely to be made on Monday, in the ruling coalition's weekly meeting.

The Interior Ministry is in charge of organizing presidential elections, thus the message sent by Nica not only reveals his lack of professionalism, but also induces the idea that the Democratic Liberal Party is trying to cheat in the election to be held on November 22.

Nica said Friday that he holds information according to which no bus can be rented between November 22 and December 6, adding that Romanians are either going to monasteries or someone has decided to organize "electoral tourism".
