Seven people injured after two trams collided in Bucharest
According to the Capital's Police, the accident took place at the intersection of Olteniţa and Giurgiu roads. Two trams on lines 7 and 11 were involved in the accident.

The policemen claim that, from the first information, the driver of the tram line 7 that was traveling on the Olteniţa road to Giurgiului did not change the turnoff and collided head-on with the tram line 11 that was running regularly.
Seven people are injured and transported to the hospital: three to Bagdasar Hospital, two to St. John, and another two to the University Hospital.
Four SMURD crews and a special vehicle for multiple victims are intervening on the spot.
Traffic in the area is difficult. Police are conducting on-site investigations to determine the exact causes and conditions of the road accident.
