Veterans Johnny Rotten, Glen Matlock, Steve Jones and Paul Cook will play Hungary for the first time in their multi-decade career and, according to people in the music industry, the band is also in talks for a gig in Romania this summer.

Surviving members of the British punk pioneers Sex Pistols got back together early November 2007 in London for a concert celebrating 30 years since the launch of the band’s first album, "Never Mind the Bollocks".

Founded in London in 1975 by singer Johnny Rotten, guitar player Steve Jones, drummer Paul Cook and bass player Glen Matlock, later replaced by Sid Vicious, the Sex Pistols split in 1978 after a disastrous U.S. tour and the death of Sid Vicious.

Their debut album, "Never Mind the Bollocks", came out in 1977 and stirred frantic controversy with hits such as "Anarchy In The UK" and "Pretty Vacant".

In 2006, the punk legends were included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but they refused to attend the ceremony and sent an offensive hand-written note instead.

Sziget headliners also include Iron Maiden, Róisín Murphy and Kaiser Chiefs. The three artists also have concerts scheduled in neighboring Romania this summer.
