Metallica Rocks Bucharest On July 23

Famous American heavy metal band Metallica returns to Romania on July 23 after almost ten years to perform a concert on Cotroceni Stadium, according to organizer Emag!c Entertainment.

Tickets will be put up for sale on www.myticket.ro starting Saturday, April 5, at prices ranging from RON350 and RON100, and starting Monday, April 7, tickets are also available in Diverta stores.

Metallica was formed back 1981 and has so far released eight studio albums, two live albums and two EPs. The band has become one of the most commercially successful and influential musical acts.

With over 100 million records sold worldwide, including 57 million in the United States alone, the band has won seven Grammy Awards, and has had four albums peak at number one on the Billboard 200.

The band's 1991 album "Metallica" has sold over 20 million copies, which makes it the 25th highest selling album in the United States
