Romania’s Supreme Defense Council decided March 25 to increase the national terror alert to “moderate” from “cautious,” triggering the activation of a series of special collaboration measures between state institutions ahead of the NATO summit.

Neither the Romanian presidency nor the Romanian Intelligence Agency wished to make any comments by publication time.
