Romania Registers 82 Deaths, 6,061 AH1N1 Infections
Most cases of infections with the AH1N1 virus were registered in capital city Bucharest (46 cases), followed by Mures (11 cases), Timis (9 cases), Botosani (7 cases), Neamt (6 cases), Iasi and Suceava (5 cases each), Ilfov (4 cases), Constanta, Galati and Prahova (3 cases each), Calarasi, Cluj, Dambovita, Harghita, Hunedoara, Olt and Sibiu (2 cases each), Arad, Bistratia, Dolj and Ialomita (1 case each).
Romania’s Health Ministry said Thursday that 210,000 people had been vaccinated by January 3, and after this date requests for vaccination increased by at least ten times.
