Train Goes Off Track N Romania, No Victims Registered
According to officials of the Emergency Inspectorate, two of the train’s six wagons went off track at around 4.30 am, because of sediments left on the rail after heavy rains during the night.
Railroad personnel and emergency inspectorate teams are working to clean the track of mud, logs, rocks and tree branches.
The train carried some 150 passengers. According to Ioan Muresan, head of the county railroad police, the passengers were boarded onto another train, which will take them to their final destination.
