The council will analyze several projects, such as creating a brand of the Danube in the region, building a second bridge over the Danube and finishing construction works on the Giurgiu-Ruse gas pipeline.
According to the Romanian prime minister, trade between Bulgaria and Romania has increased five times over the past two years.
The Romanian and Bulgarian governments on Wednesday held a joint meeting in Bucharest to discuss several common projects, as well as issues concerning the two countries' accession to the border-free Schengen Area.
