The Romanian Government wants the Parliament to adopt by November the bill on wages in the public sector in 2012, according to the Executive’s list of legislative priorities for this year’s second parliamentary session.

Romanian Govt Wants 2012 Unitary Wage Law Approved By November

The Government plans to amend normative acts regulating family allowance, child rearing benefits and maternity leave by the end of the year.

The Executive will also put forward a bill on occupational pensions and a draft law regulating the organization and operation of the private pension payment system.

It will ask the Parliament to adopt the draft normative acts applying the Civil Procedure and the Criminal Procedure codes and amend the Statute of judges and prosecutors.

A bill on assisted human reproduction, amending the law on psychoactive products and the law regulating alternative medicine are also among the priorities Romanian authorities set for this year.

In the economic field, the Government will adopt a bill regulating the Trade Registry, as well as a bill aimed to simplify procedures to sell the state's minority stakes in companies.

It will also amend Law 36/2008 on the privatization of car plant Automobile Craiova.
