Mazda Sales In Romania Up 17% To 371 Units In January-March 2017

Sales of Japanese automaker Mazda on the Romanian market surged 17% on the year in the first three months of 2017, to 371 units sold, the company said in a statement Monday.

In March alone, Mazda sold 143 units, up 49% compared with 96 units in March 2016.

The increase was mainly driven by compact car Mazda 3, with 138 units sold, up by 66% compared with the same period a year before.

CX-5 model comes second, with 79 units sold, slightly higher compared with the year-earlier period.
