    Romanian Tourism Brand Auction Enters Final Stage, Lowest Price Is EUR894,970

    The association THR, made of Asesores en Turismo, Hoteleria y Recreacion - Taylor Nelson Sofres, filed the bid with the lowest price, EUR894,970, VAT excluded, in the final stage of Romania’s tourism brand auction, according to a press release issued by the Romanian Ministry of Tourism.

    Monday, 12 pm, at the Ministry of Tourism, officials opened the bids filed in the Romanian Tourism Brand auction by the three remaining players: the Association Saffron Brand Consultants SA - Brandient Consult SRL - Acacia Avenue Limited, the Association THR - Asesores en Turismo, Hoteleria y Recreacion SA - Taylor Nelson Sofres and the Association TBWA Bucharest SRL - SC GFK Romania.

    The meeting was attended by members of the evaluation committee, representatives of the bidders and observers from the Ministry of Finance.

    According to the Ministry of Tourism, the lowest bid was filed by the THR Association, while the Association Saffron Brand Consultants SA - Brandient Consult SRL - Acacia Avenue Limited offered a price of EUR1,615,299, and the Association TBWA Bucharest SRL - SC GFK Romania offered a price of EUR993.740, all with VAT excluded.

    In the upcoming days, the evaluation committee will analyze the technical offers filed, to check if they comply with the task book. Among the bids dubbed admissible, the one with the lowest price will be declared winner.
